| Each year our church continues to advance its mission of cultivating spiritual vitality and reaching new people. Through our programs of worship, education, fellowship and missional service we have seen many lives changed for the better. For example, the ministry to homeless families with children through the IHN program has enjoyed great success in the past year. Five times in the last year we have hosted homeless families with children in our church, providing sleeping accommodations, meals, hospitality, grace and love. Over 100 of our people have volunteered in one way or the other in this program! It is through the gifts of time and talents that a program like this succeeds. A goal of the Cambridge United Methodist Church is to continue to make a difference in the lives of families. With help from members and friends such as you we will continue to see lives changed and families thrive. |

This church has been recognized as a Welcoming Congregation by The United Methodist Church through Igniting Ministry, the television and welcoming ministry of the church. This mark of recognition is earned each year through efforts of a local congregation to prepare actively and intentionally to receive newcomers. By attending regional training events or by using Igniting Ministry resources, United Methodists can develop new hospitality skills to help bring people through their church doors and give them a reason to stay. | |
